DJ Hire Hull's Terms and Conditions

1. The outstanding balance is payable by cash to the DJ(s) on arrival.

2. We will require at least an hour to set up, however we will make arrangements with the venue to confirm when we can set up.

3. The client will provide adequate supervision of its guests, including children, at the venue, and will be liable for any loss of or damage to the equipment or personnel belongings, caused by guests attending the function.

4. DJ's are to perform in a safe, non-abusive environment. Any mistreatment or abuse of the DJ or anyone accompanying the DJ, in any way will result in the immediate discontinuing of services with full balance still due if applicable and will not be tolerated.

5. The company is not liable in any way for any injuries that may occur due to the actions of the client and/or any of the clients guests. This may include, but is not restricted to drunkenness or other forms of intoxication.

6. The client and venue manager must allow suitable time for the installation and dismantling, and removal of equipment (minimum of one hour). The client also ensures that safe and adequate power is available (at least 3 sockets) The artiste ensures that any equipment that requires connection to a power source is electrically safe and conforms to the HSE EAW Act 1989, and any amendments thereafter.

7. No alterations maybe made to this booking contract by either the company or the client without prior approval of both DJ Hire Hull and the client.

8. The client must inform the DJ of any smoke alarms fitted at the venue and of any guests that suffer from epilepsy.

9. If not specifically requested or agreed, the customer shall be responsible for ensuring that the venue has the correct and relevant music licenses for the event.

10. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit paid is non-refundable.

11. The customer is responsible for paying any charges imposed by the venue. These charges may include, but are not limited to, parking, use of electric power, and fire marshall.

12. Pictures and videos of the event which are taken on DJ Hire Hull's camera will be used for promotional purposes on Facebook, Twitter and DJ Hire Hull. The client may use these photos for personal use, however DJ Hire Hull's watermark is strictly to be used in this case. DJ Hire Hull will also ask for permission to use the client's photos they upload onto social networking sites to be used for promotional purposes.

This Agreement is made for the benefit of the parties to it and is not intended to benefit, or be enforceable by, any other person. The right of the parties to terminate, rescind, or agree any amendment, variation, waiver or settlement under this Agreement is not subject to the consent of any person who is not a party to this Agreement. This Agreement contains the complete agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings, whether oral or written. This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the England, and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction with respect to any dispute arising under this Agreement.
